Congratulations to our Annual "Wine Lovers" Drawing winner, Joan Wiener. Her ticket was drawn LIVE on Facebook on May 25, 2023.

Laurie Bend, Outreach Director, helped out when Joan and her husband came to the MOWSV headquarters to pick up the 1/2 wine barrel filled with 3 magnums of Bernardus wines; 6 bottles from Morgan Winery; 6 bottles from Dawn's Dream and 6 bottles from Galante Vineyards; certificates for wine tasting from: McIntyre Vineyard - Flights & Bites for 4; Hahn Winery – Tasting Flights for 4; and A Taste of Monterey - Ocean View Wine Flights for 4 with Artisan Cheese platter; wine glasses; Lula’s specialty chocolates; wine snacks, olives, crackers and salami and many more wine accoutrements. This year's prize was valued at over $1500.

We thank everyone for supporting Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley during our annual fundraiser. 

All proceeds from the drawing stay local and help us assure that no senior in the Salinas Valley goes hungry. With your generosity, Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley has been delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors who cannot shop and cook for themselves since 1972.
