Our collaboration with the Arts Council for Monterey County continued in July with more homebound clients enjoying music through our "Art & About" program.  For the second month, clients on one of our Salinas routes, were serenaded by Jessica Le Jeaune on Thursday, July 25th, when she accompanied MOWSV volunteer Steve Reclusado during his delivery of Additional Tasty Items (ATI).  The clients enjoyed the personal concert given by Jessica!

Jessica is a music teacher in Monterey and solo artist who has been writing songs since she was a child. Her jazzy voice and beautiful take on popular cover songs made for wonderful moments of music. Visit our Facebook page to see Jessica in action!

We will continue this program "Art & About" throughout the summer and fall. Peter Meuse (with ukulele) is scheduled to accompany another MOWSV volunteer on one of our Salinas routes in August.  Again, we could not have made this possible without the support from the Arts Council for Monterey County.
