Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley, Inc. Welcomes New Board Members
Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley, Inc. (MOWSV) is pleased to announce local business women who have recently joined the Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley board of directors.
Joanne Bravo, Vice President of Pinnacle Bank, joined the board in July 2017. She will also serve on the Agency Operations Committee. Joanne brings over 30 years of banking experience to the board, has held the treasurer position for the Gilroy Downtown Association, is a graduate of the Leadership Salinas Valley Class 30 and AgKnowledge Class Nine.
Daniella Zapata, Development & Operations Manager at American Red Cross of the Central Coast, joined the board in September 2017. She will also serve on the Fundraising Committee. Daniella is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and earned a BSBA from Sullivan University in Kentucky. Over the past 12 years with Red Cross, she has held various positions including Community Relations Manager, Volunteer & Youth Services Manager and a stint as interim CEO.
Karen DeWitt, Department Manager at Tanimura & Antle, joined the board in July 2017. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin. Karen’s experience working closely with the Tanimura & Antle CEO, Senior Executive Team and board members to keep the Office of the President running efficiently is a valued skill brought to the MOWSV board. She also has fund raising experience with several non-profit organizations.

They each bring a unique sense of community, experience and leadership to the mission of Meals on Wheels: delivering meals to homebound seniors who cannot shop or cook for themselves,” said Regina Gage, Executive Director. “We look forward to having them share their leadership and experience with our board.”
