Regina Gage, MOWSV Executive Director and Laurie Bend, MOWSV Marketing/Operations Director traveled to Denver, Colorado to give a presentation at the 2024 NANASP Annual Training Conference - June 12-14. NANASP - National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs - asked to present on the topic "Innovative Programs Through Collaboration" at their annual conference. Regina and Laurie gave a one-hour presentation on the collaborations MOWSV has created in the past few years that have grown the services we provide to seniors throughout the Salinas Valley. Their presentation included programs such as Additional Tasty Items; MASA (during covid); "Art & About;" and the SOCOS/NOCOS and SASSO Socials held monthly; sharing the process for successful collaborations with many agencies.
