On Friday, July 8th, Carmel Plaza Summer Live Music Series gives support to Meals on Wheels programs! Every Friday for the month of July from 5-7pm, the Carmel Plaza is inviting everyone to come enjoy live music by the region’s most talented and popular musicians, sip on premier local wines and experience samplings of savory appetizers from local restaurants. In addition to live music, food, and wine, the series guarantees incredible raffle prizes from Carmel Plaza retailers and informative opportunities through various local non-profit partnerships. Partnering with a different local non-profit each Friday — July 8th Meals on Wheels programs will be highlighted — Dance to "Fast Times," enjoy bites from Forge and the Forest and sips of wine from Wrath Wines as well as learn more about Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley and Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula — both celebrating 50 years in service to our communities — $5 from every food and beverage package sold will be donated to Meals on Wheels! We are anticipating a huge turnout in support of Meals on Wheels of the Salina Valley and Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula.
