Congratulations to our very own John Gianelli, volunteer and board member, at Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley. John was honored on April 19, 2022 at a celebration hosted by United Way at the Monterey Marriott for their "Live United" Community Service Awards. He was honored as the winner in the Human Services category for his outstanding and remarkable volunteerism with MOWSV. John's leadership roles at MOWSV show his dedication and the creative ideas he presents to help further our mission. The year's theme, Rise, was inspired by the many volunteers honored, as they rose to the occasion during the most difficult of times. Each honoree and nominee stepped in to improve lives through the selfless actions and heroic achievements. Together, We Rise. We are so fortunate that John chose Meals on Wheels to give his time, talent and energy.
