Congratulations to George Alvarez, our Volunteer of the Quarter for rural routes for the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2025–26.

George began volunteering as a driver in January 2025 and has generously shared his time in service to our community. When asked what inspired him to volunteer, George shared that he had volunteered for Meals on Wheels many years ago and wanted to continue giving back in a meaningful way.

While George prefers to let his service speak for itself, his steady commitment and kindness have made a lasting impact on the seniors of the Salinas Valley. We are grateful for his dedication, reliability, and heart for helping others. Congratulations, George, and thank you for your outstanding volunteerism!
