Congratulations to our Salinas program Volunteer of the Quarter – 1^st quarter – Tim Rose! Tim has been volunteering with MOWSV since June 2018. He’s very dependable and takes on extra routes when needed. Tim is a man of few words and has quite the sense of humor. His answers to the interview questions were succinct and to the point – just like Tim! A few words he shared for potential volunteers was that “the organization is extremely well run and efficient. Your time is not wasted and it’s for a good cause.”

Tim started volunteering with MOWSV after retiring in 2018. He was a school psychologist with Gilroy Unified School District for 29 years. Prior to his time with GUSD, he worked in Salinas and Los Angeles. Not only does Tim give MOWSV his time and energy but he also drives with Independent Transportation Network of Monterey County (ITN). Tim pointed out that being honored as the Volunteer of the Quarter for MOWSV is “my first award.”
