Alison Samuels joined MOWSV in March 2020. She began as the Program Coordinator and in 2023 was promoted to Program Manager. Alison is responsible for volunteer coordination, inventory and ordering of meals, and client assessments. 

Shortly after graduating with a B.S. in Psychology from CSU Monterey Bay in 2011 Alison was employed  by St. Andrew’s Residential Programs for Youth (S.T.A.R. Programs) in San Jose where she worked focusing on care for wards of the juvenile court system and immigrant children, housing them and helping them learn essential skills to become contributing members of society. 

In her spare time Alison enjoys spending time outdoors in her yard, hiking the local Monterey County trails, and coaching kids sports.  Most of all she enjoys spending family time with her loved ones.
