Our popular "Art & About" program continued in November visiting more of our clients. Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley and the collaboration with The Arts Council for Monterey County welcomed musician, Mick Breen, and his mandolin to serenade some of our homebound clients on North Monterey County routes.  Smiles abounded as clients listened to Mick's songs accompanied by his mandolin playing! Mick accompanied MOWSV volunteer Diane Boilard on her meal delivery route. 

Mich Breen has been playing music and singing for over 40 years. He has a wide variety of musical genres in his repetoire and can lay "anything with strings." Mick is also an experienced music educator for "kids" of all ages and is a new Teaching artist for the Arts Council.
