The staff at Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley honored our dedicated volunteers with some surprises this week. We are so grateful for the time and energy that each volunteer spends assuring that the vulnerable seniors in our community do not go hungry. Throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteers have been delivering meals to homebound seniors implementing safety procedures to keep all parties safe. As our thank you and to celebrate volunteers this week, each volunteer was given a balloon, a cookie, a MOWSV mug or glass and a box lunch as a token of our appreciation. Volunteers are our driving force and we could not do all that we do without their support. Thank you MOWSV volunteers!
