Salinas Program: Volunteer of the Quarter - OCT 2017

Congratulations to Marione Browning our Volunteer of the Quarter! Marione started volunteering for MOWSV more than 25 years ago because she wanted to do something to help people. “By delivering meals to seniors, it helps them stay in their homes and that is very satisfying,’” says Marione.

Marione stays busy with her MOWSV volunteering and also has volunteered with the Steinbeck Center and Steinbeck House working on various committees.

Aside from her volunteer activities, Marione’s work career has included experience in banking, government, newspaper advertising and she was a teacher at Natividad Elementary School for 10 years.

Marione has been a resident of Salinas for 60 years.  She has two daughters, one lives in Morgan Hill and the other in Palmdale and Marione is a proud grandma to 4 grandchildren.

In her free time, Marione enjoys going to the theater, playing bridge and traveling.

Thank you Marione, for being a such wonderful volunteer and congratulations on being our Volunteer of the Quarter!
