Congratulations to NCI Affiliates, Inc. our Volunteer(s) of the Quarter!

We asked NCI Affiliates, Inc. a little bit about the organization and here is their reply, “We at NCI Affiliates, Inc. are dedicated in providing services that encourage and support individuals with disabilities so that they may achieve their personal and professional goals.  One way NCI Affiliates helps to achieve these goals is to have our clients begin in our day programs and then volunteer at organizations throughout the city. Through volunteering, our clients gain confidence, self-esteem, responsibility, trustworthiness and socialization skills.”

They continued by adding, “We chose Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley as the organization our clients would volunteer. MOWSV allows our clients an opportunity to help others in the community, learn vocational skills and have social interactions with others. We appreciate all the support we have received from Meals on Wheels.”
