During National Volunteer Appreciation Week - April 7-13, two Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley volunteers, Tony Hedgpeth and David Louie, were honored at the United Way "Live United" Awards ceremony on April 9 at the Monterey Plaza. Both were nominated by the MOWSV staff as extraordinary volunteers for going above and beyond in their commitment to Meals on Wheels. In addition to receiving a medallion from United Way, each received numerous certificates from local dignitaries. Congratulations Tony & David!
